Not enough memory to complete operation

I have Windows XP and Family Tree Maker 9. When I try to access the website to check for family info in FTM, I get several different messages including your program did not shut down properly last time, Windows creation failed, and not enough memory please close other applications. I have plenty of memory etc. Help and thanks.
