Nothing starts...Green Screen

If you start up the computer and nothing happens....just a blank Green screen.........what is the first step to rectify the problem?

I've seen a simliar problem caused by Direct X a long time ago...

Have you tried booting into safemode?

Tried Reseating your video card? or checked the connection where the monitor cable plugs into the card and/or plugs into the monitor.
