Nvidia + boot problems

Hey all, i just bought a new Geforce 7600 GS OC AGP card, and I installed it and everything fine.

But now, when I boot my computer 1 of 3 things happen:

1) It will boot properly right up until the login screen, it will then turn black with the hour glass in the middle of the screen (freezes)

2) It will boot, then when about to go to login screen, monitor goes into idle, and nothing else happens.

3) Boots properly 1 out of 10 times.

Any ideas? I am clueless.

It's properly due to an inadequate PSU(Power Supply Unit). Read off the brand name, no. of watts and the no. of amps on the +12V rails from the sticker on ur PC's PSU by opening up the case.

Or it could be a driver problem, try booting into safe mode and see what happens.

What is your computer make and model?

How much amperage do you have on your +12v rail?
