I want to ask some of you that have knowledge in graphic cards if this card will run with my system. Currently I have a Radeon 9800 SE 128 bit edition and for even simple graphic games like Fifa 08 or NHL 08 it lags in either offline or online multiplayer mode. So I'm considering getting a NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT 512MB. I Wouldn't mind personal choices for alternatives in the same price range. Thanks.

Google and get everest home edition. It will come up with lots of useful information about your mobo (motherboard) to better work with.


With some help from www.crucial.com it appears your pc has an agp x8 graphics port. So far I have only found the NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT 512MB in pci-e format.



2 totally different slot types, it wont work.

I downloaded the program and yes its a 8x AGP.

I found a AGP version of the 7300GT for 75 Euros.

The next thing you need to do is have a look at the psu. There should be a label on it. You need to know what wattage and 12v rail amperage your psu will put out.

Hmmm, i have a feeling the card you want will require more that 16amps on the 12volt rail.
