Nvidia GeForce FX5200 LITE Problem ****DVI****

I recently bought a Nvidia GeForce FX5200 LITE video card, 128mb etc. etc.

i installed it and when i hooked up the dvi for my monitor and turned it on, there is no signal. Yet when i hook up my analog it works perfectly. Could there be anything that I can do to get this to work. I really don't want to send the card back and wait another 2 weeks to get it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes i tested another monitor on it and it didnt work. AND i hooked up my monitor with my dvi cable to my uncle's computer and it worked. Any tweaks that i can possibly do w/o hurting the card to make the dvi work. THANKS

Sounds to me like you have a bad dvi port on your card. You could either return it, or you could use an analog to dvi adapter to run your monitor.

I'd love to know what came of this thread...

I have a similar problem. My old CRT monitor died, and the new LCD with DVI input will work on the analogue output, but not the DVI.

Am about to pursue warranty options ...

Cheers
