NVIDIA TNT2 Drivers

Hey, guys. What NVIDIA driver (Detonator or Forceware) should I use under Windows ME with a Riva TNT2 Pro to get the best quality and performance? I am asking this because I noticed that (under RPGMaker 2000), using the original Windows drivers showed no flicker. But, when I used the 45.23 drivers, sure they were fast in Direct3D applications. But in RPGMaker, flicker starts to appear. It's not so bad that it is unplayable, it's just really annoying. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You should use ancient Detonators. Something in the 1x or 2x series maybe.

I wouldn't use anything higher than 30. Here is a good place to find them:

I actually had pretty good luck with the 23.11s with a GF2MX 32Meg.

Why is it that I can't really use higher drivers with older cards like this one without problems? Also, which NVidia driver do you recommend for the NVIDIA Geforce FX5500, FX5200, and RIVA TNT? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Newer drivers are optimised for newer cards and not tested that throroughly on older ones.
