OCZ What does it really stand for???

Hi I have been reading up on some OCZ reviews and I always wanted to know what acronym OCZ really stands for? I thought it was "Overclockerz" but that would be a odd company name. Anyone know what it stands for?

Well, according to Nasa, OCZ stands for Operational Control Zone, but I doubt thats what OCZ Technologies means. I've never seen OCZ define its acronym however my hunch is that your original guess is correct. Like you said, Overclockerz is an odd company name so they probably switched to OCZ.

I always assumed that OCZ stood for Overclockerz. I can't say that I really thought about the topic too much, though.
