Old card question?

Greetings,

I have a question, obviously....

I have a geforce fx 5200 255mb, Which is currently the card I am using in my computer.

I also have a geforce fx 5600 128mb laying around my house that works perfectly.

Which one would be better? Is the 5200 just as good because it has more memory? Or is the gpu on the 5600 better?

Any help with this is fine. I'm just holding out until I have the cash to build a new comp. Thanks for any help in advance.

the card with the most memory would appear to be the best, but core clock and memory clock does play some part.

The 5600 without a doubt.

If the 5600 is an Ultra that was the best 5000 series card bang for the buck card.
