Old crappy 13" monitor with x800xl video card

i am buying a new rig soon and it will be used for gaming. i will have a x800xl video card but i may have to use an old compaq presario 13 inch monitor. will this keep my x800xl from reaching its full potential?

Howdy

The higher res you set the vid/monitor to will make things really small.
Ther is no feedback from mon to vid card, so the mon won't hurt the
vid card. A fresh monitor would really be best bet..
A 17" would be the min for me..
What part of earth are you sitting on? Maybe we can help you find one....
