Old Video card compatibility

Hi, this is a very simple question, only I've only ever used PCI-E graphics cards or onboard.
I recently got this
(ECS K7S5A V3.1) mobo and have cpu and RAM for it, just wondering if ALL agp 4x cards are compatible with it? (Spec simply says AGP4x slot) For example the Radeon 9550 here

SHould be able then. Unless there's incompatibility issue (0.01% chance)

Ive been looking at card though, and the agp slot on my motherboard is continuous, i.e. will take a card looking like this:

while all the card i look at have three separate sets of pins like this:

Do either fit in the slot ok and the other pins are not needed??
Or am i missing somthing??? both are AGP 4x
