Operating temps p4 lga 775 3.0 cedar mill

My cpu is a single core p4 cedar mill 3.0. Idle temps range from 48-53. Running programs it goes to 56-63. Are these okay ranges? What is the best way to get the pc to a max load to check the temps? Thank you

I like to use Prime95 to heat up my processors. Those temps look fine.

I use Sisoft Sandra's burn-in module, with it you can choose any of their benchmarks in combination and loop it to heat memory or CPU core.

If you have good heatsink goop, properly applied then a better heatsink will bring down the load temps, but you're in an OK range of temperatures as it is.
