Just wondering if anyone can help me out...I've read through the "How to remove Begin2Search / CoolWebSearch and other Nasties" thread, and am following the instructions in it. I've just run Ad-Aware, using Windows XP (in safe mode), and I'm worried about deleting the following item that it identified:
Vendor: Windows; Category: Vulnerability; Object Type: RegData; Location: scrfile\shell\open\command "" ("%1" /s "%3")
Is it safe to delete this? I've turned off system restore as per the instructions in the "How to remove Begin2Search" thread, and I'm worried that if something goes wrong by deleting this, I won't even have the system restore function to reverse any damage.
