  1. hey all who read,

i am thinking of upgrading from my intel p4 3.4ghz (oc'ed to 3.8ghz) prescott to a new core 2 duo e6600 2.4ghz processor.

i am running vista buisness x86 build 6000.
will i have to reinstall the os when i put the e6600 in as some reviews have been saying thats what id have to do?

i agree with you use a 286...it is not worth...and you do not have to reinstall the os if you change cpu....

the processor is running 100% a lot of the time though, and thats oc'ed.
like when im batch editing pictures it at 100% and then you can run anything else properly at the same time...
