Outlook Express attachment problems

Recipients of some of my attachments report that they get multiple copies, and no content. They suggest this could be a virus, but I've run a scan and found nothing. The attachments come as .tmp files. I haven't been able to find any information about this problem in MS's documents. Would appreciate any suggestions.
