Outlook not downloading from other accounts

Hi Lads and lassies

I have a problem wth microsoft outlook.
Have tried to set it up to manage three email accounts.

i set it up with an eircom email account( my isp).
then tried to add two others AOL and hotmail.

while i can send emails from one to the other using outlook.
the only messages that outlook receives are the eircom.

i think iaam using the wrong pop3 names for aol and hotmail.

should i use the pop3 of my isp so all pop3 are the same.
i am confused

you need to check the ports that the email servers use. Not all providers use standard ports. Contact your provider for this information. Also check to see if the sever names for both incoming and outgoing are correct.

Also try thunderbird. It is a lot better than outlook and it is also free.
