overclock fx5200

how can i overclock my nvidia fx5200

i have a msi kt6v mobo
512mem
athlon xp 1800+

just google "coolbits". its a program that is inherently built into every Nvidia product. Consumers have to unlock it themselves by changing the registry or downloading a program to do the registry change for them. But basically just open regedit and navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak] and create a new dword value called "coolbits" and set the value to 3... then right click on your desktop screen and open up the Nvidia utility..Should see a frequency page to OC sumwhere there

but how much can i overclock it without any
other cooling devices.

ppl have reported a stable overclock of 300/580 with the stock HS/F.

i overclocked my fx 5200,without extra cooling,then made some heatsinks out of old pentium 1 processer heatsinks for the memory an added 2 more extra fans tha allowed me to overclock it some more.BUT even overclocking the pants off our cards wont do much exept shorten the life span so mines back to stock now.these cards were never good gamer cards the day they were new.sorry.didnt want you to wreck your card for nothing.what games do you want to overclock for?
