P/S2 Mouse weak

this problem just happend while i was browsing. My mouse seems to be alot weaker and its not responding correctly, i have cheacked that it is all plugged in and everything but it just suddenly happend. i have cleaned it and wiped it down but still doesn't work. HELP!

happends with 2 mouse and only appears to occour when moving up and down, left and right are OK
