I have a ASRock motherboard with sound card but will not give me sound on game. If I disable sound I can load and play the game-but no sound. If I enable sound I cannot get game to start, reverts to desktop. Have downloaded latest drivers. Any suggestions please.
In such a case, well, in any case where you have onboard sound (save for an nforce onboard sound system), I would get a pci soundcard and be done with it. For best compatibility, get a creative card.
