Pc freeze sometime

hi all
can someone tell me please what is causing my mouse and my hole pc to freeze just for a couple seconds and than it works fine for a time and than again it freezes. i already format my pc and install windows again on it but it sill does not help.

If you have Win XP could be that you are short of RAM, need at least 256 to get it working properly.

You have just enough to install it.
You will continue to have trouble with this older system.
