pc freezes at win logo

hi. i startup my compy and click on my login name and enter the password and the pc just freezes there. Can somene help

Have you made any changes to your computer lately? Either software changes or hardware changes?

I would try booting up in "safe mode". If you are able to, then do a system roll-back to the last known date your computer was working.
