PC Keeps freezing and wont wake up

Hi

My PC at random times normally when on the internet will freeze, i then have to shut it down by holding the computer button for 5 seconds. Another problem im having is when my computer goes into power saving mode it wont wake up when i move the mouse or press keys on the keyboard and again i have to switch it off by holding the button in for 5 seconds. im on vista ultimate and ive reinstalled it and i still get this problem. any suggestions?

please give us the specs of u're computer or the brand and model #, it is hard to help fixing something if u do not know what u are fixing.
