PC Standby Problem

I have a problem i have a windows xp sp2 and whenever i put the computer on standby and try to revive it the screen is either jus blank or with lots of random lines sometimes it comes back but its really dodgy i mean like loadng of internet pages comes in glitches i dunno perhaps its the frame rate :S its been like this since i reformatted and reinstalled.

I've had similar experiences with computers that don't wake up from Stand by properly.

check your hardware drivers in device manager or the ADd/remove hardware wizard. Maybe when you reformatted some important drivers you had were wiped.
