Pc wont boot please help!

Well yester i just turned on my computer and it boots the cd drive adn when it gets to the hardrive it keeps making a beep....................... sound and keeps going i dont know whats wronge adn i cant even get a screen up, is the hard-drive get broken or is there a way to fix it... also how cna i get my stuff back form that hard-drive?

You say you can't "get a screen up". Does this mean nothing is showing on the screen? A RAM chip or the video card might be loose and you might want to try and reseat them. If you need to access your data immediately, you can take out the hard drive and install it as a slave into another system. Alternatively, you can get an external enclosure to hook it up to another PC via USB/1394.

i think it s ram problem.. take it off and clean it then put it in again. am sure there wont be the beep again.

yea sounds like a ram issue
if you have more than 1 stick then try them separately you may find that 1 is messed.
if you only have 1 stick then change the slot its in.
