Hi all, new to board with prehaps a silly question. My Mobo is a Gigabyte GA-K8U-939. I'm looking at a hardware card (Canopus Edius NX). Requirements for card are "One free PCI 64-bit or 32-bit/66MHz slot (rev. 2.2)." On gigabytes web site specification page for this mobo it says "5 x PCI slots (PCI 2.2 compliant)" but doesn't list pci clock speed. If it say rev 2.2 does that mean it is at least 32-bit/66Mhz or can it be rev 2.2 compliant and 33Mhz.
Thanks,
Dan

If your mobo will allow pci overclocking then there will be pci bus speed shown in your bios and it should show 66mhz. Be very careful when trying to overclock it as all pci devices will be overclocked. This will include built in sound card if your mobo has it.

Do it at 1mhz at a time and monitor everything, especially temperatures. Speedfan from the downloads section will help if you don't already have it.
