Philips SPA2600/00 5.1 speakers

Can someone help me please? i just bought some Philips SPA2600/00 brand new today and they were working fine...after about half hour, the LED light just went out and i can't adjust the volume control, the volume is so low...ive tried everything but nothing seems to work

please double check all your speaker connectors/mini jacks are plugged into the right sockets of the sound card.

make sure that your mini jacks shoulder is not touching any metal part of your case.looks like something shorted out.

also try other A/C wall outlet.if your speaker's power requirement is AC 220V,make sure that your speaker (amp) is not plugged in to AC 110-115V.

If you can't find a short and your plugs are inserted all the way in, take the thing back...
