PLEASE HELP: GTA San Andreas doesn't load when i click on the icon

Hi everyone,

I just installed GTA San Andreas onto my computer. Whenever i click on the icon, the hourglass shows up for about half a second, then goes away and nothing happens.

I've never played the game before on this computer, so there's no file that i can delete in the My Documents/GTA Saved Files folder.
