Please help i'm at my wits end.....

Please can anyone help me, i am having problems with no sound on flash videos on the internet, i have tried to reinstall flash play after delelting it but didnt help any. i use ie7 most of the time but i installed firefox to see if it was just ie7 but still no flash sound on either. i have sound on every other item on my pc, which is why i am at my wits end with no flash sound. so any help would be MOST appreciated. tyvm in advance.
