Please Help Me My Recording Control Are Disabled...

PLEASE HELP ME, MY RECORDING CONTROL LIKE CD VOLUME, line VOLUME,mic volume, stereo mix volume are disabled , what should i do to enable it ,
any one please help me to enable ..(please see the picture to get idea what is my problem?)

(system info: microsoft windows xp
media center edition
version: 2002
service pack 2)


(computer info: intel{R}Pentium{R} D CPU 3.40GHz 448 mb of ram)

Go to control panel, under Audio and Voice tab, there should be "Audio recording" and "Voice Recording" If there's no mixer available you must install it from the original CD driver)
