I came to this forum as a last resort after 2 weeks of diag and testing please refer to my original post https://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?p=421614#post421614. untill i got a blue screen with a slightly different error code and it reffered to interupted ps. I had just bought a new one but I still changed it for one I knew was working and still the same...so the next logical thing to do was to change the powder cable...Hay presto.... no more freezing and no more blue screens.
I would only class myself as just out of novice stage in terms of up todate IT knowledge but this seemed too simple to be the cause of all the trouble it was throwing up.
