Pleeeeze help

I'm having problems installing a printer. I kept getting an error message saying "The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications"!!!! What does that mean? Is anyone out there who can help me with this problem? Thanx....

It would certainly help us, if you would put in a more meaningful description of your problem. Cries like yours tend to be ignored!
We need more info, what printer, what are your PC specs, what Windows version etc.

As I was telling you that I couldn't install my printer? Well, I have Windows 2000, service pack 1, and my printer is a Lexmark 23. If that info does not help please let me know. Thanks..

try installing the printer as nt or later sometimes this works sometimes

Windows 2000 is on SP4 by now, and SP5 is already in the making.
You will probably need to update your W2K before that printer will install.
Make also sure you have the latest W2K-drivers for that printer from the Lexmark website.
