I'd be grateful if anyone could help as I've been puzzling over why the .pf files in my Windows/Prefetch folder are all assocaited with the Adobe Acrobat Reader program! Surely this can't be right? I periodically clean out this folder, but each time it's repopulated the files are always associated with this same program. I'm guessing that this will defeat the object of speeding up the opening of the programs I use most ferquently.
What program(s) should these files be associated with?
