I am new to this forum and fairly new to computer upgrade. I have been trying to install a new card to improve my ATI Xpress 200 onboard graphics. The emachines has a MSI-MS-7145 motherboard. The card that I got was the chaintech Geforce 7300 GS. Unfortunately, it has not been working properly. I have tried to disable the onboard by using device manager and installing the new card. however, the windows bring up a warning saying that the new file or hardware has not been tested using windows logo or something like that and would I like to continue and I clicked yes. Once the driver was installed my whole system started giving error messages about not operating properly and missing or cannot find dll files from certain softwares. The resolution also looks worst than the onboard graphics, it is set to 800 by 600 Pixels instead of the max. It wont even give me the option. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
