Hi, I am having the same problem as Rynkeby in https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic34363.html

But my problem can't be resolved by using PTDD partition table doctor 3.0.
My D drive in disk management is healthy but doesn't belong to any file system.

When I use PTDD to view, the system file of NTFS is there!!!

When I select fix boot, it says "Boot sector of the partition is right!"
But in the disk management, I still unable to explore the D drive content.

Can anyone help me out on this?? I need to get back my data urgently. Thanks.

can you right click on drive in disk management and change file system to ntfs
or does it show un highlighted(disabled)before attempt with 3rd party tools try xp
I am not up to speed on the app your using
I use paragon or acronis
you may not have to format just change the file system
