Problem transfering eudora and firefox to a new mac

I transfered all my files from an old to a new Imac. firefox launches and then immediately shuts down. (Safari woks)

Eudora did not transfer my address list to the new computer and it crashes when I try to open a new message about 1/3 of the time. I can send and receive.

Any help would be appreaciated - especially on Thanksgiving. Well actually, even after Tgiving day.

hum; by transfer I take it to mean you COPIED the programs.

suggest you at least download and INSTALL FF.

the Eudora address book should COPY well if you directly copy the file and not
just the program or directory.

at worst case, export the address book contents and copy that

I re-downloaded Fire fox and that seems to have solved that problem. Thanks

My eudora is still acting up. 1) Still crashs as I try to look at received messages and 2) I still can't figure how to get the addresses to the new computer. I don't know how to get to a list of adsdresses so that I can copy them to export them. I can only get one address at a time.

BTW - I am running version 6 of eudora and I know there are more recent ones that one can purchase - but this version suits my needs unless, of course, getting the upgrade is the only way to solve the problems.

good new on FF. Sorry, I haven't used Eudora since Mac OS 7.6 so I can't
advise on exporting your email addresses.
