Problem typing into browser or word document

The icons on my desktop keep flickering ,i cant type into the browser or create a word document without either filling up with letters automatically and the computer shuts down frequently on its own.Can any kind person suggest a solution particularly to stop the browser filling up with letters and so preventing me from typing? Would really appreciate some help! Sytem restores dont solve the problem

you could have some sort of malware or your cpu could be a bit hot but it's probably more likely to be malware

download these programs and run them: Spybot S&D, Lavasoft Ad-aware, AVG Free

post again with the results from each scan

edit: oh yeah, remember to update each of them first
