Can anyone help me? I have an L7VMM3 motherboard with Windows XP PRO SP2 installed. On 2nd September I received message from Microsoft saying that I had to verify my copy of XP, even though I have a genuine version from microsoft themselves. On doing this I was asked to punch in all the numbers on the verification page after ringing a free phone number for them. Since that day I have been unable to have any sound on my machine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both windows and the motherboard drivers, but to no avail. I have also been onto various sites for the proper sound drivers and installed those, but again, no joy.
The drivers are VIA AC`97 sound drivers.
Can someone please come to my rescue?
