Problem with Desktop unable to arrange Icons

Ok its a very basic problem with my desktop, I am unable to move my Icons to where I want them. I don't no what setting I have accidently changed, but I have just stuck a new graphics card in so it mau have changed a setting.

Right click on an empty part os your desktop and select arrange icons. Select align to grid.

You should now be able to arrange your icons how you want.
