Problem with directx/directinput

heyy. have problems when i try to start upp bf2.. i just return to windows all the time. then i did a dxdiag. then i get this message: "DxDiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing DirectInput the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass DirectInput this time?. then i click no... and after that dxdiag crashes. someone plz help mee

first of all what is bf2? is it a game? forgive me, I am not a gamer... lol
problems accessing direct input can be caused by video card drivers. make sure you have the latest drivers and they should be whql certified.

sorry.. yah battlefield 2 is a game. but. I have the latest drivers already..
by the way.. what is directinput doing? I dont now much about directx..
