Problem with wireless access point!

Hi guys, i have a slight prob. My sons pc connects to the internet through a wireless accsess point on my pc which is on cable.The prob is that when i turn my pc off his internet also goes off.Is there any way that he can still connect to the internet when my pc is off? cheers,del.

Use a wireless router hooked to the cable modem. Most, if not all, wireless routers have 4 wired ports in back as well. Hook your computer to the wireless router through the wired port in the back and he can access the cable modem through the wireless part of the router.
