i have bought the sims meg deluxe pack nd i have never played the sims before. i've checked the system requirements and my laptop meets them all. still, just after inserting cd 1 it starts trying to install a framework for service pack 2 and them it stops. the error details say that i don't have SP2 which is not true because i do have it install! i have even removed SP2 and went to windows update page and had it installed again, but still the message on the installation process of the game is the same: SP2 is not installed. i really don't know what to do next... help???
