Problems printing

Hi

I have a Lexmark Z517 printer and I have just put in a new ink cartridge. I printed off a test page ok but now when I try to print word docs the printer just churns out blank pages. I can print off internet and I can print e mails but I just cannot print word docs. Really need help please guys as I have course work to complete this weekend - any suggestions very welcome x

seems like a driver issue. Check to see word is accessing the correct driver.
In the meantime, give openoffice.org a try. www.openoffice.org

Did you scrape or get crud on the encodere strip... ? Try gently cleaning that plastic strip that runs through the back side of the cartridge mount and connects to each side of the printer. Look for other components out of position.
Remove and reinstall the drivers from a LexMark Download... then retest//
