problems with instaling downloaded games

yo seriously enoying problem yall

I downloaded an old stratagy game called heroes of might and magic. i finished the download and when i mounted it i saw the auto run window but when i clicked install, nothing happend. i waited couple of minuts and then it just closes itself down and nothing happens. could it be because i just did system recovery or does it have something to do with a bad video card (3d card)? any ideas?
