Problems with Nvidia GeForce FX 5500

I have installed Empire Earth 2, when i try run the game it comes up with the followin error

fatal problem at c:\ees\src\ee2.cpp:578
failed to create Direct3D Device

please help

WIN 98
AMD SEMPRON 2.3+
256MB RAM
40GB H/DRIVE
NVIDIA GEFORCE FX5500

hi, first you should update all drivers; chipset video audio etc.

enough hard disk space?

there is over 20gb free space and directx 9.0c is installed, im running out of ideas

You still use Win98??

For the best gaming performance, I recommend Windows XP.
Try to reinstall the game, that MAY fix the problem. :unch:
