Proper Threshold Temp Values?

I've got an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe board, and it has a
utility that shows what the temp is, and has provision for
an adjustable threshold above which it will provide an
overheating warning.

Also shows processor temp with the same settable threshold
warning. It's a 2.8 P4 Northwoods.

Trouble is, I don't know what those threshold temps should be?

I have added extra cooling fans and vents to the upright case.

Suppose that depends on how paranoid you are. All it's going to do is warn you that your component is at or past the temperature that you set it to.

The maximum operating temperature for your CPU is likely between 149F and 158F (65C and 70C). Set it somewhere below that...
