Q6600 need help with what mobo to get?

Hey just wondering if anyone could help me pick a mobo.

I don't wanna spend more than £70 max.

It needs to be pci-e 16x (actually running at that speed not like the asrock conroe which is capable of using pci-e cards but only runs them at 4x....)

Support for pc2 6400 ram

On board sound.

I have a few in mind but I don't wanna buy something to find out it wasn't worth the money or has problems I'm not aware of.

Thinking of Asus P5K-E if I can get one cheap.

There's 2 or three gigabyte boards which look good...

Your thoughts are appreciated!

If you're not into overclocking get the Intel DP965LTCK or the Intel DP35DP (if you want something more future proof).

One of them is one of the intel boards I was recommended.

I'd rather you avoid eBay and get a mobo from a website like Overclockers UK or eBuyer instead. But both are good boards and will serve you well. I just suggested the P6N since it has a newer chipset and a couple of extra features like SLI support, plus it comes with free shipping. It's upto you in the end though. Yeah thanks so much for the input - ebay can be sketchy but it's not so bad if they're in my city and the things are new.

Just want to make sure I'm not buying something that's secretly duff just becasue I wanted to save a few quid.
