I wanted to know what was the main difference between AMD and Intel's cpu structures. I read that athlon cpus have an embedded memory controller and connect directly to the ram without northbridge, so do athlons still use northbridge? And does this have anything to do with why only pc3200 memory and below is only available to use with Athlon64s and taht theres no ddr2 support(correct me if i'm wrong)? Just wanting someone to clear this up for me.
