Can anyone tell me if I can burn dvds on Vista home basic or do I have to upgrade to Window Vista premium or can I just load Easy Roxio dvd/cd burner software? I wanted to burn digital photos to a dvd so I could playback to watch on TV.

You can just load Roxio or Nero or whatever, and make a "Slideshow" DVD.

If your particular DVD player doesn`t play them, you might have to put them on a CD instead.

yeah, in a nutshell, thats pretty much it. i would have thought all vista versions had an option to write to dvd though... weird lol. but roxio, nero, basically any program out there that burns dvds should work just fine. i used to use nero and roxio but have yet to reinstall them to my system.
