Hi,
I own an IBM T43 with Windows XP Pro. The laptop came with a hidden partition containing recovery files if you want to revert the harddrive to its original factory install. I also created the recovery dvd that it allows you to. My question is if i use either the hidden partition or the recovery cd's to format and install windows again to its original state will the hidden partition be preserved? I would like to do this but want to make sure the backup partition remains intact. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
