Questionable warning message

Every time I switch on the computer, I get an audible warning with the message “Application failed to initialize: 0x8001066ba. A problem caused Windows Defender to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help and Support on how to start a service manually”.

When I click on OK everything seems to carry on as normal but clearly, something is amiss somewhere. Any idea how I can get rid of the message or if I need to be concerned about it?

Uninstalling and reinstalling Windows defender may help.

If not, read this thread HERE and post a HJT log as an attachment. This is because I want to see if you have anything nasty on your system.
