Radeo 9700 Series: I'm new to the Land of Radeon

Hello everyone,

New comp, blazing with a Hercules 9700 Pro : )
Since I have used nVidia cards since the Creative GeForce (1) DDR, I am kind of used to the Detonators and RivaTuner.

If you own a Radeon, or are just in the know, which programs can you recommend to tweak my card a little ?

My Gigabyte Maya Radeon 8500LE came with an overclocking utility, V-Tuner to be exact. I believe it may be Gigabyte proprietary though.

PowerStrip will allow you to overclock. It is a very sweet little program, and should serve your needs perfectly. The new version, 3.29, includes 9700 support.

Thanks a lot, I have given them all a try. Radeonator is currently sitting on my desktop, I like how it presents the options ( although Rage 3D has the same features, it seems ).
